The first week of #Fallofthebrooch has arrived! This week's theme is around Brooch Petal Power (#broochpetals). Think big, bold floral brooches set against some of the pretty colors that will be popular this Fall according to Pantone.
For my examples of this trend I've taken a cute vintage 60s blue dress that has some moth damage and I've created a brooch motif to help hide the damage, while brightening up the entire look.

And here it is with a combination of flower and butterfly brooches for a touch of whimsy (and for hiding that big moth hole on the shoulder!)
Doesn't shoulder now look sculptural and elegant?!
